Eligibility Citeria of NSP Financial Assistance for Education of the Wards of Beedi/Cine/IOMC/LSDM Workers Post Matric 2023-24 :
To qualify, applicants must:
- Enrollment in a regular course of General or Technical education, including Medical, Engineering, and Agricultural studies
- Child of Beedi, Iron Ore Manganese & Chrome Ore Mines, Limestone & Dolomite Mines, Cine workers with a minimum of six months of service
- Successful completion of the last qualifying examination in the initial attempt
- Family income not exceeding INR 10,000 per month for supervisory and managerial employees and INR 8,000 per month for cine workers

- Students receiving scholarships or stipends from other sources are not eligible for benefits under this scheme.
- Scholars must have a separate bank account; in the case of a joint account, the scholar’s name should be listed first.
- If more than one child of the same worker applies, each must provide a separate bank account number.
- Each scholar is required to have a distinct mobile number.
- Ineligible students include those continuing education in the same stage but in a different subject (e.g., B.Sc. after B.Com.) and those switching professional lines (e.g., L.L.B. after B.T.).
- The scholarship may be canceled if obtained through false statements, if the scholar discontinues studies, changes the subject or institution without approval, or fails to make satisfactory progress.
- The scholarship is also liable to be canceled if the scholar is irregular in attendance or guilty of misconduct, or if the parent(s) cease to be a Beedi/Mine/Cine worker.
- If scholars commit any of the above after receiving the scholarship amount, the amount will be recovered from their parents.
